Fun Day Monday - What's Your Dream Car? I Have Mine!
I love cars, especially the fast and cool looking ones. I used to drive a 1972 Chevy Nova and was a fun fast car, but how I have dreamed to drive a "super car" as they are called. Well, for Fun Day Monday, I thought I would share my list of dream "super cars"! We can all dream right?! So here are my Top 10 dream cars. And I love charcoal grey and white :)
10. Tesla Model S ($90k-$140k)
This may not be so much of a "super car", but it sure is iconic and beautiful. Would love to drive one of these bad boys with the huge LCD display/dash, fast acceleration and sleek design. Not to mention it is electric, so has that cool factor!
9. 1968 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 (~$150k)
Ok, this car was made super famous from the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds". None the less, I have wanted one of these sweet rides since I can remember. I am not a huge ford person, but I would take on of these in a heartbeat. Pure American power and dreams right there!
8. Dodge Viper ($130k-$160k)
Since I was a kid, I have loved this car. Something about it's curves and sunken sides that just make a man drool... Funny thing is, when I was a kid, I used to think they bent in the middle to turn. There is a concept for better turns. lol
7. Porsche 911 ($100k+)
This has to be on the list. Porsche has been in the game since the beginning. Although these "super cars" don't have huge engines in them, the little 4 banger has some punch!
6. Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 ($120k+)
As for super cars, the iconic Corvette hits the list. This American beast can hold it's own and is one sweet looking ride. For me the early Corvettes and the most recent models are amazing, but from the 80's until about 2010, they were a flop. Now they have come back with a vengeance!
5. Aston Martin ($100k-$300k)
I fell in love with this car after watching the movie "The Italian Job". It was the dream car of one of the main characters and he finally got it in the end. Yes please!
4. Maserati Gran Turismo ($75k-$140k+)
Nothing screams luxury/super car like Maserati. If you drive one of these, you have made it! Maybe someday...
3. Ferrari 488 Pista ($250k+)
So for as long as I can remember, I have drooled over a Ferrari. Well they have outdone themselves with the 488 Pista. Holy smokes!! And of course a Ferrari, must be in red...
2. Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4 (~$2.3M)
So many Lamborghini's to choose from. However, this special edition beats them all. Wow! It was developed to commemorate the 100th anniversary of founder Ferruccio Lamborghini's birth. I would love one of these, but not sure I could handle it... I might just pass out at the sight of one of these! lol Only 20 coupes and 20 roadster versions of this dream are being built. How do I get on that list?!
1. Koenigsegg Agera (~$2.4M)
Now for my number one, I had just learned about a few years back when seeing a news article that showed someone wrecking one of these beauties. I wonder how much their insurance premiums went up after that? At any rate these things are fast! Can go 0-62 MPH in about 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of almost 300 MPH (273 MPH). How can I test drive one of these?
